In 1985, agriculture employed approximately 80% of the Cambodian work force. Today, that number is around 56%. Although this is still a high percentage of the work force, the population has grown rapidly in that time and the demand for food is higher than ever. This puts Cambodia in a difficult situation with less labour being dedicated to food production yet more mouths to feed, leading to a high volume of imported goods.
We feel it is our responsibility to try and overcome this issue. Our innovative technologies aim to reduce labour requirements while increasing production, leading to a more sustainable form of agriculture.
